Experience
I am an experienced tutor of chemistry, mathematics, and biology. I enjoy tutoring biology, as this is an academic love of mine. I gained this experience while at Monmouth University as a tutor of my peers. I helped them better understand the life sciences. It brings me joy when I am able to explain the scientific information in simpler terms and methods. With this understanding, the students are able to grasp the underlying concepts to be able to memorize the data and information. One of the key elements in the field of science is memorization. Science is not an easy subject for a lot of people. It is very confusing. I understand this, and that is where I bring my love of science in to make it easier to understand. I feel a sense of purpose and accomplishment when I am able to help students who do not understand and are frustrated when they first start a session, and, by the end, they enjoy learning about science. I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Biology, with a concentration in Molecular Cell Physiology and a minor in Chemistry from Monmouth University. I plan on going to medical school. I enjoy nature and watching and participating in most sports. I want to help you to love science.
